Abraham Lincoln (Feb 12, 1809 – April 15, 1865) was born in poverty, he was self-educated and became a lawyer. At the year of 1860, he became the 16th president of the united states of America.

He succeed in abolishing slavery, preserving the union in the civil war, strengthening the federal government and modernising the United States Economy.

He was been assassinated in 1865 by John Wilkes Booth (an actor) at Ford’s Theatre in Washington.
